The project:

The requirement was to develop an 83 bedroom care home in Stratford-upon-Avon. The architects produced plans for an eco friendly light gauge steel framed (LGSF) construction. An LGSF framework helps speed up the production time by up to 30%. Another overriding factor in the choice of LGSF is the smaller carbon footprint it has in comparison with a timber framed building. All of our steel frames are made from 42% recycled content and because all beams are manufactured to a specific size there is 0% material wasted.
