The project:

The requirement was to develop an 81 bedroom care home in Hatfield – the project was completed in 2023 on time. The architects produced plans for an eco friendly light gauge steel framed (LGSF) construction. An LGSF framework helps speed up the production time by up to 30%. Another overriding factor in the choice of LGSF is the smaller carbon footprint it has in comparison with a timber framed building. All of our steel frames are made from 42% recycled content and because all beams are manufactured to a specific size there is 0% material wasted.
